어두운 밤나무빛이 잔 속에 깊게 잠겨 무겁게 흔들린다. 코에는 메이플 시럽과 구운 피칸이 먼저 열리고 그 사이로 잘 익은 자두의 단내가 비친다. 맛에서는 흑설탕과 계피가 묵직하게 입을 채우며 새 오크통의 탄 맛이 그 중심을 잡는다. 단 하나의 배럴에서 나온 이 버번은 끝에서 마른 오크와 옅은 박하를 남기고 천천히 사그라든다.
