Tasting Notes
애버딘셔 동부 하이랜드 포구이 마을의 농경 풍토가 글렌드로낙 1994 빈티지 17년 숙성에 두꺼운 단맛을 길러냈다. 잔에는 짙은 마호가니빛이 비친다. 향에는 페드로 히메네스 펀천에서 비롯한 말린 자두와 가죽, 흑설탕이 빽빽한 단맛으로 또렷이 드러나고 입에서는 55.1도의 도수가 무화과와 다크 초콜릿, 정향을 묵직하게 입을 채운다. 여운에는 PX의 끈적한 단맛이 길게 남는다.

so far from being the 12 at a higher strength! Granted, it is a little rough, and green, and spirity, but there are also rather lovely herbs and dried fruits. Sultanas, cinnamon cake, figs… With water: nice chocolate, Mars bar, cornflakes, dates

rich, sweet, punchy, malty, citrusy. I did not care too much for the nose (a little simple, perhaps), but I have to say this arrival is great. Hot chocolate, malt bars, Guinness, dried figs, raisins, and perhaps the tiniest ‘pinhead’ of Marmite. This is a product from the UK, isn’t it? With water: swims very well. Touch of oak, chocolate, marmalade, ginger, all-spice…
