Tasting Notes
짙은 마호가니빛이 잔 속에 깊게 고인다. 1994년을 증류한 글렌드로낙 27년은 올로로소 셰리 펀천에서 오래 잠들어 진한 과실미를 품었다. 첫 향은 말린 무화과와 대추, 묵은 가죽과 다크 초콜릿이 겹겹이 피어오른다. 54도의 도수가 입을 채우면 건포도와 흑설탕, 호두의 고소함이 두꺼운 질감으로 흐르고 셰리의 단맛이 진하게 받친다. 여운은 마른 과실과 담뱃잎, 오크의 탄닌을 길게 남기며 깊게 머문다. 셰리 본가다운 묵직한 품격이 끝까지 흐른다.

… and yet a very similar profile, I wouldn’t say that the PX brought much more roundness and sweetness – so far. So a lot of dried fruits again, Corinthian raisins, rich tobacco, chocolate, bacon, mint… and quite some fresh walnuts as well (skins). With water: more leather, game and tobacco (cigar humidor) as well as whiffs of black truffles
restaurant Palate
now it’s sweeter, and quite unusual too. Oh, and rather brilliant. Starts quite nervous, on pink grapefruits and ginger tonic, before some beautiful notes of tangerine liqueur and gingerbread join in the dancing. Absolutely lovely. With water: more bitter oranges and more ‘greenness’ (herbs, chlorophyll) that go very well with this profile
timer Finish
long, creamy, not cloying at all. Great balance. More black raisins, cocoa powder and cardamom in the aftertaste
