Tasting Notes
짙은 적갈색이 잔 안에 진득하게 고인다. 페드로 히메네스 셰리 펀천에서 21년을 보낸 글렌드로낙답게 건포도와 무화과 잼, 당밀의 진한 단맛이 먼저 솟아오른다. 그 아래로 다크초콜릿과 가죽, 호두의 풍미가 깊게 깔린다. 54.3도의 도수가 입천장을 천천히 덮으며 농축된 단맛을 퍼뜨린다. 1994년 빈티지의 PX 셰리는 무겁고 달콤하다. 여운에는 말린 과일과 흑설탕의 단맛이 길고 진하게 이어진다.

… and yet a very similar profile, I wouldn’t say that the PX brought much more roundness and sweetness – so far. So a lot of dried fruits again, Corinthian raisins, rich tobacco, chocolate, bacon, mint… and quite some fresh walnuts as well (skins). With water: more leather, game and tobacco (cigar humidor) as well as whiffs of black truffles
restaurant Palate
now it’s sweeter, and quite unusual too. Oh, and rather brilliant. Starts quite nervous, on pink grapefruits and ginger tonic, before some beautiful notes of tangerine liqueur and gingerbread join in the dancing. Absolutely lovely. With water: more bitter oranges and more ‘greenness’ (herbs, chlorophyll) that go very well with this profile
timer Finish
long, creamy, not cloying at all. Great balance. More black raisins, cocoa powder and cardamom in the aftertaste
