하일랜드 동부 포그의 서늘한 공기와 온화한 풍토가 셰리 숙성으로 이름난 글렌드로낙의 원액을 깊이 길러 왔다. 올로로소 셰리 벗에서 19년을 보낸 1991년 빈티지는 아주 짙은 호박빛을 잔에 드리운다. 코끝에는 멘톨 어린 셰리와 오래된 동전, 훈제 햄과 발사믹의 향이 개성 있게 감돈다. 50.4도의 힘 아래로 후추와 그라파, 볶은 커피와 메이플 시럽의 독특한 풍미가 진하게 흐르고, 여기에 고무와 점토 같은 이색적인 뉘앙스가 겹치며, 여운에는 카다멈과 녹차 같은 초록 향신료가 길게 이어진다.

this time it's a rather mentholated sherry we're having - and a big sherry of course - that also comes with notes of metal polish, old coins and then quite some ham, bacon and soot. After a few minutes, it's more balsamic vinegar that comes out, and bit time. And game. Well-hung pheasant ;-)
