Tasting Notes
은은한 금빛이 잔에 그윽하게 담긴 글렌드로낙 1963은 반세기를 훌쩍 넘긴 하이랜드의 고전이다. 향에서는 건포도와 사과 파이, 잘 익은 자두의 달큰한 과실 내음이 은근한 맥주의 결과 함께 오른다. 입에서는 맥아와 건포도의 단맛 위로 구운 피칸과 감초 뿌리의 씁쓸함이 팽팽하게 얽힌다. 43도의 온기를 지나 오렌지와 건포도, 정향의 여운이 길고 그윽하게 남는다.

raisins, fruity hop, ale, apple pie, overripe pears, and very ripe damson plums, or rather those excellent tartes made thereof. I used to find a little menthol in Glendronach 12, but not this time
restaurant Palate
good malty/raisin arrival, rather tenser than other official Glendronachs, with more fruity/malty ale, roasted pecans, and touches of liquorice roots. Less dry than earlier expressions, I’d say
timer Finish
rather long, and rather on oranges and raisins. Cloves in the aftertaste
