Tasting Notes
잔을 기울여 빛에 비추면 짙은 적갈색이 잔 안에서 진하게 일렁인다. 코끝에 가져가면 셰리의 건포도와 호두, 가죽 향이 묵직하게 올라온다. 한 모금 머금으면 글렌드로낙다운 마른 과일의 단맛이 혀 위로 매끄럽게 퍼진다. 입에 굴리면 43도의 부드러운 도수가 셰리의 짙은 단맛을 둥글게 받쳐 준다. 1970년대 병입의 옛 스타일답게 견과와 가죽의 깊이가 또렷이 드러난다. 삼킨 자리에 다크 초콜릿과 마른 과일의 단맛이 천천히 번지며 남는다.

we have pretty much the same spirit as the W&M here, only with a rather huge coating of winey/spicy notes that, well, go rather well with it. It also gives it kind of an extra-smokiness and finally big notes of mirabelle plum pie. Works well
restaurant Palate
the same thing happens on the palate, with a big spicy fruitiness (ripe plums, cinnamon, sultanas) and an enjoyable roundness. Tarte tatin, brown sugar, hints of cloves and liquorice
timer Finish
rather long, a little more on the whisky now (grassy wax.)
