Tasting Notes
노즈에서는 리필 버번 캐스크의 바닐라 퍼지와 버터스카치, 갓 구운 크루아상이 먼저 두드러지고 풀 내음과 발라킨 특유의 옅은 피트가 뒤에서 발전한다. 팰럿은 깨끗하며 보리와 곡물, 흙내음에 청자두와 골든 레이즌의 단맛이 단단한 균형으로 이어진다. 57.7도의 높은 도수는 물을 부르지만 그만큼 응축된 힘이 명확하게 드러난다. 피니시는 길고 미라벨 자두와 오드비의 과실 뉘앙스가 또렷이 남는다. 에드라두어의 피티드 라인인 이 보틀링은 버번 숙성만으로 다듬은 산뜻한 구조를 보여준다.

it’s clean, and it’s even very good. Nothing that goes astray, rather barley, cereals, a touch of earth, some greengages indeed but no excessive mirabelly notes, and just a handful of golden raisins. All is fine and well in this baby. Now, it’s, cough, quite strong. I should have added water

long and there, mirabelles and the fabulous eau-de-vie we Alsatians are making thereof. Haha…
