향의 첫 층은 버터스카치가 담당하고 이어서 오렌지 마멀레이드와 구운 오크가 드러난다. 노즈만으로도 50도의 강도가 짐작되지만 자극적이지는 않다. 팰럿은 옥수수 단맛과 나무의 쌉싸름함이 거의 같은 비중으로 맞물린다. 중반 이후 검은 후추와 계피가 뚜렷하게 발전하며 단맛을 정리한다. 피니시는 길고 건조하고 마지막에는 가죽과 코코아가 부드럽게 비친다. 보틀드 인 본드라는 표기가 품질의 하한을 지키는 역할을 한다.
