잔을 코끝에 가져가면 피노 누아 캐스크가 더한 붉은 뉘앙스와 아드모어 특유의 옅은 연기가 부딪친다. 잔을 흔들어 향을 열면 제라늄 잎과 카시스 새순의 다소 낯선 향이 먼저 드러난다. 46도로 한 모금 머금으면 훈연을 두른 버터 케이크와 매콤한 몰트, 마멀레이드가 의외로 잘 어우러진다. 하이랜드 아드모어답게, 삼킨 뒤에는 후추와 이탄, 블러드 오렌지의 매콤함이 남는다.
