애버딘셔 케네스몬트의 아드모어는 드물게 피트를 입히는 하일랜드 몰트를 빚는다. 1986년 증류해 12년을 보낸 이 보틀링은 잔에서 옅은 짚빛을 낸다. 으깬 감자와 재, 깍지콩과 구운 가지의 향에 숯내음이 가볍게 감돈다. 40도의 도수로 입안에서는 훈제한 사과주와 아스파라거스, 녹차와 부드러운 허브가 산뜻하게 번진다. 마무리는 짧지만 기분 좋은 소금기가 은은하게 번진다.
