짙은 황금빛이 잔 속에 그윽하게 어린다. 벤리악의 오센티쿠스는 스페이사이드에서는 드물게 강한 피트를 입힌 25년 숙성 보틀링이다. 향은 식은 장작 연기와 말린 과일, 옅은 흙내음이 부드럽게 어우러진다. 46도의 점잖은 도수 위로 맛은 꿀과 훈제향, 묵은 오크의 쌉쌀함이 매끄럽게 흐른다. 사반세기의 숙성이 다듬은 은은한 연기와 단맛의 여운이 깊게 머물며 피티드 스페이사이드의 희소한 매력을 전한다.

creamy start, then a very unusual development, very leathery and spicy. Something Indian, so to speak. Cardamom, pepper, green curry, aniseed… The aniseeds keep getting bigger in fact, the whole reminding me more and more of some sweets that we call Anis de Flavigny here in France. Do you know that?
