Tasting Notes
노즈에서는 페드로 히메네스 피니시가 실어 온 크리스마스 케이크와 붉은 베리 잼, 가죽 같은 건포도 향이 명확하게 드러난다. 17년을 채운 이 벤리악은 46도에서 버번 배럴의 과일향과 PX의 단맛이 겹쳐 발전한다. 팰럿에서는 라즈베리 잼과 라즈베리 초콜릿, 생강 마멀레이드가 균형 있게 이어진다. 피니시는 같은 붉은 과일과 향신료가 중간 길이로 남아, 셰리 피니시의 응집된 구조감이 돋보인다.

a little vinous and rubbery at the same time, before it becomes fruitier, around Xmas cake and red berry jam. A little gunpowder, but also more and more leathery raisins and gingered marmalade. I find it pretty pleasant

pleasant indeed, I’m even finding a Benriachy fruitiness behind the PXed layer. Raspberry jam, raspberry-filled chocolate, some sweet peppered chocolate, more raspberries…
