Tasting Notes
살구빛이 잔 안에서 곱게 물든다. 벤리악 17년은 버번 배럴에서 숙성한 뒤 리오하 와인 배럴에서 마무리해 와인의 결과 붉은 베리의 향을 함께 낸다. 46도 아래로 크리스마스 케이크와 라즈베리 잼, 은근한 고무 같은 개성이 스친다. 한 모금 삼키면 라즈베리 초콜릿과 붉은 자두, 향신료를 곁들인 단맛이 매끄럽게 흐르고 스페이사이드다운 과일 향이 그 밑에서 버틴다. 여운은 붉은 베리와 은은한 오크를 남기며 부드럽게 비친다.

a little vinous and rubbery at the same time, before it becomes fruitier, around Xmas cake and red berry jam. A little gunpowder, but also more and more leathery raisins and gingered marmalade. I find it pretty pleasant

pleasant indeed, I’m even finding a Benriachy fruitiness behind the PXed layer. Raspberry jam, raspberry-filled chocolate, some sweet peppered chocolate, more raspberries…
