Tasting Notes
잔을 흔들어 향을 열면 벤리악 12년 셰리 우드의 은은한 금빛이 흔들린다. 코끝에 가져가면 PX와 올로로소가 남긴 건포도와 퍼지, 프랄린과 멀드 와인의 향이 따뜻하게 열린다. 한 모금 머금으면 46도의 단단한 질감 위로 초콜릿과 호두 기름, 소금 감초가 번진다. 삼키고 나면 스페이사이드 셰리 몰트다운 호두와 트리플섹의 뒷맛이 좋은 길이로 이어진다.

what we had expected. Some raisins, some fudge, a faint grassy/spicy side (green pepper), some chocolate, praline (Nutella, actually), and a wee felling of mulled wine, with star anise and cinnamon. Works for me
restaurant Palate
works indeed, even if there’s a tiny rubbery/spicy side, with some walnut oil and, well ‘sucking rubber bands’. But the whole’s very pleasant, rather firm, and quite different from other sherried Speysiders (say colleagues Glendronach). A little salted liquorice
timer Finish
good length, with more walnuts and drops of triple-sec
