Tasting Notes
잔을 가볍게 흔들면 맑은 황금빛이 유리 벽을 타고 미끄러진다. 코를 가져가면 다크 럼 피니시에서 온 건포도와 퍼지, 초콜릿 프랄린이 겹치고, 벤리악다운 옅은 피트 연기가 그 위에 감돈다. 한 모금 머금으면 46도의 도수가 뱅쇼 같은 향신료와 호두 오일, 살짝 짭짤한 리코리스를 혀 위에 펼친다. 삼킨 뒤에는 호두와 오렌지 리큐어의 달콤한 여운이 은근하게 남아 이어진다.

what we had expected. Some raisins, some fudge, a faint grassy/spicy side (green pepper), some chocolate, praline (Nutella, actually), and a wee felling of mulled wine, with star anise and cinnamon. Works for me

works indeed, even if there’s a tiny rubbery/spicy side, with some walnut oil and, well ‘sucking rubber bands’. But the whole’s very pleasant, rather firm, and quite different from other sherried Speysiders (say colleagues Glendronach). A little salted liquorice

good length, with more walnuts and drops of triple-sec
