Tasting Notes
스페이사이드 엘긴 인근의 벤리악이 43도로 담은 10년이다. 잔에는 밝은 금빛이 어린다. 향은 갓 구운 빵과 이스트에 잘 익은 사과, 자두 스피릿과 페일 에일이 겹치고 젖은 석회암이 스친다. 입안에는 오렌지와 크리미한 바닐라, 리몬첼로에 달큰한 보리 맛이 또렷하게 드러난다. 흰 후추의 알싸함은 오크에서 온 듯하다. 스페이사이드다운 보리 중심의 담백한 결이 인상적이다. 여운은 제법 길고 후추와 바닐라, 씨과일이 남는다.

a few bready/yeasty notes at first nosing, then some overripe apples and a blend of plum spirit and pale ale (some kind of IPA). A touch of wet limestone as well, but the whole’s very barleyish rather than plain fruity. Perhaps a few greengages?
restaurant Palate
more fruits, less ale. I find oranges and a creamy vanilla (butter cream, fudge), then rather touches of limoncello, while the sweet barley speak out again after a few seconds. Touches of white pepper, quite possibly from the oak
timer Finish
good length. Pepper, vanilla and malty beer, plus stone fruits in the aftertaste. Swiss Abricotine?
