잔을 살짝 흔들다 멈추면 잔 벽에 굵은 자국이 남아 천천히 흘러내린다. 코를 가져가면 흑당과 구운 옥수수가 먼저 다가온다. 한 모금 삼키면 단맛과 매운 기운이 거의 동시에 도착한다. 마지막에는 가죽과 마른 오크가 부드럽게 비친다. 두 번째 모금에서는 육두구가 더 또렷하게 잡힌다. 보틀드 인 본드 규정을 따른 만큼 도수와 출처가 분명한 술이다.
