코를 잔 안쪽 깊이 넣으면 탄 참나무와 캐러멜이 동시에 밀려온다. 잠시 뒤 말린 살구와 계피가 뒤에서 올라온다. 한 모금 머금으면 술이 묵직하게 입을 채우며 옥수수 단맛을 넓게 편다. 삼킨 다음에는 후추 알갱이 같은 자극이 혀끝에 또렷이 깃들어 있다. 잔을 비운 뒤에도 캐러멜 향이 유리에 붙어 있다. 50도라는 도수가 부담이 아니라 뼈대로 작동한다.
