Tasting Notes
글렌 모레이 1962가 27년을 머금어 깊은 호박빛이 잔에 가라앉는다. 향에서는 잘 익은 사과와 마른 풀, 가벼운 꿀, 부드러운 가죽이 또렷이 깃들어 있다. 43도의 입안은 매끄럽게 흘러 시트러스 껍질과 보리설탕, 가벼운 견과류, 옅은 정향의 매콤함이 차례로 풀린다. 디스틸러리 보틀링 빈티지가 봉인한 60년대 초반 글렌 모레이의 단정한 스페이사이드 결이 깊고 우아한 여운으로 길게 이어진다.

air Nose
much, much fruitier than the Dun Eideann. Lots of orange juice, apricots, fresh pineapple, plums and strawberries... A whole basket! It gets then a little mineral (flinty) and also quite flowery (flowers from the fields such as buttercups and dandelions). Extremely fresh despite all these years in glass – a very nice surprise. Pure pleasure!
restaurant Palate
yes, it’s more complex, sweeter and rounder than the Dun Eideann, even if less thrilling than the nose. Lots of oranges and caramel, praline, fudge, nougat but also something slightly bitter. Nothing disturbing but the whole is a little simple, developing mostly on the ‘usual’ apple pie topped with caramel. Gets then a little weak but the finish is rather enjoyable, with something liquoricy. But it’s a good old ‘mundane’ OB altogether, and the nose was quite an experience. 84 points .
