샤르도네 캐스크에서 10년을 온전히 보낸 시간이 글렌 모레이의 가벼운 몰트에 화이트 와인의 결을 더했다. 향은 보리와 버터, 사과가 둥글게 맴돌다 2분쯤 지나 시트론의 상큼함이 슬며시 떠오른다. 입에서는 40도의 절제된 도수 위로 수액 같은 단맛과 시트론, 후추 어린 허브티, 가벼운 커스터드가 드러난다. 샤르도네의 흔적은 과하지 않게 스며 있고, 크루아상과 프랄린, 마멀레이드가 짧지만 기분 좋은 여운을 짚빛 잔에 남긴다.

ah. Barley, butter, apples, and repeat. I wouldn’t say this is un-nice, certainly not. Perhaps citrons coming out after two minutes?

ah! Certainly not un-nice indeed. A little sappy, with some citrons again, some peppery herbal tea, Ricola bonbons (you know, Alpine plants and all that), and a little custard. As for the chardonnay, well…

short, but pleasant. Croissants, praline, and marmalade. Only the aftertaste is a little difficult, a little sour…
