Tasting Notes
첫 향은 왁스 같은 질감과 잘 익은 과일, 옅은 흙내가 또렷하게 앞선다. 벤네비스 1996의 27년 숙성으로 이 증류소 특유의 묵직하고 오일리한 캐릭터가 명확하게 드러난다. 팰럿은 꿀과 시트러스, 가벼운 향신료가 더해지며 44.2도의 도수가 부드러운 균형을 잡는다. 호그스헤드에서 온 마른 오크가 피니시까지 길게 끌린다. 오래 숙성된 하이랜드의 골격이 인상에 남는 보틀링이다.

it’s almost syrup, it’s so sweet, with an Irish side, mangoes, pear juice, prickly pears, meadow honey… Only in the far distance do you find some waxy, peppery, and ashy touches reminding you it’s a Ben Nevis
