잔을 흔든 뒤 노즈를 살피면 메이플과 구운 헤이즐넛이 먼저 자리를 잡고 옅은 감귤이 뒤를 잇는다. 팰럿에서는 흑설탕 시럽이 중심을 이루고 그 위로 시나몬 스틱과 마른 체리가 겹쳐 무게 중심이 낮다. 켄터키 버번 중에서도 100프루프 규격을 지킨 만큼 물을 조금 더해도 향이 무너지지 않는다. 피니시는 오크 탄닌이 조여 오며 드라이하게 끝나고 후추의 잔향이 길게 남는다.
