잔을 흔들어 향을 올린 다음 코를 깊이 넣으면 흑설탕과 구운 콘브레드가 자리를 잡는다. 조금 기다리면 가죽과 향신료가 뒤에서 모습을 드러낸다. 한 모금을 머금고 입을 다물면 토피가 묵직하게 퍼지고 육두구가 그 사이를 가른다. 삼킨 뒤에는 오크의 떫은 기운이 목 안쪽에 오래 남는다. 물을 한 방울 더하면 콘브레드의 고소함이 넓게 살아나고 가죽 냄새가 한 겹 눕는다. 보틀드 인 본드 규격의 단단함이 여운 끝까지 그대로 이어진다.
