잔을 크게 돌리면 술이 잔벽에 매달렸다가 굵은 줄기로 미끄러진다. 코를 가져가면 흑설탕과 구운 견과가 먼저 나오고 오렌지 껍질이 뒤에서 비친다. 한 모금을 머금으면 캐러멜이 두꺼운 질감으로 흐르고 시나몬이 위에서 찌른다. 천천히 삼키면 병입 도수 그대로의 온기가 가슴까지 내려간다. 잔을 십 분쯤 두었다 다시 맡으면 견과와 오렌지 향이 한층 진하게 올라온다. 마지막에는 마른 오크와 다크 초콜릿이 함께 깊게 머물며 자리를 지킨다.
