포트 윌리엄 인근 벤네비스 산기슭의 거친 기후와 산정 호수의 물이 21년 빈티지의 골격이다. 프레시 버번 캐스크 답게 옅은 황금빛이 잔에 잠겨 있다. 향에서는 토피 사과와 바닐라, 마른 시트러스, 가벼운 흙내가 두드러진다. 입에서는 캐러멜, 풍성한 시리얼, 호두가 두꺼운 질감으로 흐른다. 54.1도의 도수에도 벤네비스 특유의 거친 텍스처가 단단하게 발전한다. 여운에는 약한 우디 스파이스와 산정의 청량함이 길게 발전한다.

unstoppable, commanding, and yet elegant. Nothing to do with D.C., then. The salinity is remarkable, with wee green peppers, salted waxes, even kippers... With water: it all falls into place, becoming more than perfect, though it doesn’t quite scale the interstellar heights of cask 1648.
