Tasting Notes
잔에 어린 빛은 옅은 황금이다. 1986년에 증류해 1996년에 병입한 벤 네비스는 광물성과 그을음이 짙은 이 증류소의 개성을 오롯이 담는다. 잘 익은 바나나와 귤에 다시마와 젖은 바위, 버터 바른 포리지의 향이 얽히며 짭조름한 결을 연다. 46도의 도수 아래 입안은 그을음과 레몬, 후추에 마른 가죽과 보리 사탕의 풍미가 스민다. 여운은 길게 이어지며 쌉쌀한 오렌지와 짠 왁스의 잔향이 깊게 머문다.

doesn’t Ben Nevis become even more mineral (Angus insists we should say mineralic) and sooty? Angus also gets some sorts of overripe bananas, tangerines, a little saltiness as well, while I’m starting to find some kelp and wet rocks. New magazines, ink, a pack of mint lozenges, and this buttered porridge that’s not rare in Ben Nevis. Freshly chopped parsley
