잔 속에 잠긴 짙은 호박빛이 1972년에서 2010년까지 흐른 40년의 무게를 비춘다. 던컨 테일러의 옥타브 시리즈로 작은 캐스크에 마무리한 글렌 그란트 1972는 55.2도의 카스크 스트렝스로도 균형이 단단하다. 향은 응축된 살구잼과 마른 무화과, 옅은 향신료가 깊게 머문다. 입에서는 꿀과 구운 견과, 묵은 가죽의 따스함이 두꺼운 질감으로 흐른다. 여운은 노쇠한 오크와 함께 길게 사라진다.
