노즈에서는 37년 장기 숙성한 글렌 그란트 1972의 잘 익은 과수원 과일과 오래된 오크 향이 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 깔끔한 증류 성향답게 시트러스와 꿀, 옅은 향신료가 뒤따라 명확하게 드러난다. 팰럿은 51.8도에서 건살구와 토피, 마른 견과가 또렷하게 발전한다. 피니시는 오크의 은은한 스파이스와 과일 단맛으로 길게 이어지며 구조가 단단하다.

quite different from the Whisky-Doris, a little less fruity but waxier and a little more toasted, more a classic so to speak. Quite some beeswax. Really beautiful. With water: oh yes. A whole beehive – minus the stings. Also something coastal. Sea air?
