35년을 보낸 이 글렌 그란트는 노즈부터 깊은 원숙함을 드러낸다. 묵은 오크와 잘 익은 열대과일, 꿀과 옅은 가죽이 천천히 발전하며 스페이사이드 특유의 우아한 골격을 보여준다. 54.8도의 팰럿은 진한 보리 단맛과 망고, 묵은 향신료가 균형 있게 이어지며 긴 숙성에도 도수가 살아 있다. 피니시는 마른 과일과 오크 탄닌이 길게 이어지며, 35년 세월의 깊이가 또렷하다.

phoohh… This is honeyed perfection. Beeswax, pollen, honey, dandelions and buttercups, overripe apples, whiffs of incense and sandalwood, then old books and ‘grandma’s attic’. Akin to the greatest old cognacs, I’d say
restaurant Palate
and what a body at this strength! Starts on a perfect combination of crystallised oranges, marzipan, and old-style crème de menthe, goes on with all things honeyed and biscuity, and then we have some old sweet wine, apricot jam, liquorice and a little tobacco. It’s just so perfect, and yet so very approachable and even easy. These are the bottles one should look for at auctions, if you ask me. Best B-F-Y-B ever
