어두운 적갈색이 잔 속에서 무겁게 빛난다. 모틀락 1994는 퍼스트필 셰리 버트에서 27년을 보낸 보틀링으로, 더프타운의 야수라 불리는 증류소답게 묵직한 골격이 느껴진다. 코에는 말린 대추와 가죽, 고기 육수 같은 깊은 향이 감돈다. 54도의 입은 빽빽하게 차오르며 다크 초콜릿과 건자두, 검은 향신료가 깊게 머문다. 여운에는 그을린 오크와 쌉쌀한 카카오가 오래 이어진다.
