잔 속 술은 진한 호박빛에 갈색이 섞여 깊다. 첫 향은 메이플과 바닐라가 나란히 열리고 그 뒤로 그을린 배럴 향이 올라오며 잔에 둘수록 나무 쪽이 앞선다. 입에서는 단맛이 넓게 깔린 뒤 호밀의 향신료가 결을 내는데 50도의 도수는 그 둘을 같은 자리에 세워 둔다. 이 싱글 배럴은 헤븐힐 버번의 정직한 성격을 숨김없이 드러낸다. 여운은 마른 오크와 흑당으로 천천히 저문다.
