멀 섬의 토버모리 증류소가 피티드 라인으로 풀어낸 레다익 1997년 원액이 호그스헤드 한 통에서 이십이 년을 보낸 쓰리 리버스 도쿄의 더 댄스가 잔에 옅은 황금빛으로 머금어진다. 향에서 그을린 톱밥과 갯바위 이끼, 옅은 시트러스 껍질이 두꺼운 질감으로 흐른다. 입에서는 오십일 점 팔 도의 알코올이 짭조름한 훈연과 옅은 꿀, 마른 풀로 풀려간다. 멀 섬 특유의 청량한 피트가 끝맛에 또렷이 비친다.

Behind that, bags of dried porcinis, cured ham, sour cream, gravy, and moss. Shan’t we call it ‘unconventional’? With water: an old sherried Mortlach.
