따라둔 잔을 흔들고 코를 가까이 하면 메이플과 바닐라가 먼저 도착한다. 그 아래에서 구운 옥수수와 가죽이 층을 이룬다. 한 모금 굴리면 진한 캐러멜이 혀 중앙을 누르고 정향이 양옆을 건드린다. 넘긴 뒤에는 코코아와 그을음이 남아 단맛이 늘어지는 것을 막는다. 100프루프를 그대로 마셔도 거칠지 않은 위스키다. 식사 뒤에 한 잔으로 마시기 알맞다.
