첫 향은 다크 초콜릿과 흑설탕 쪽으로 기울어 있고 말린 자두가 뒤따른다. 입에서는 캐러멜의 단맛이 입천장을 천천히 덮은 뒤 오크가 균형을 잡는다. 50도라는 도수는 중반 이후 스파이스와 겹치며 분명해진다. 마무리는 삼나무와 마른 곡물로 정돈되고 길이가 적당하다. 보틀드 인 본드 기준이 이 위스키의 성격을 규정한다. 헤븐힐의 10년 표기도 신뢰할 만하다.
