잔을 기울여 흔들면 버번 호그스헤드가 빚은 맑은 황금빛이 잔 벽을 따라 흐른다. 코끝으로 가져가면 글렌로시 1997의 잘 익은 멜론과 바닐라, 꿀의 향이 부드럽게 올라온다. 53.5도를 한 모금 머금으면 보리 단맛과 시트러스, 가벼운 오크 스파이스가 혀 위로 번진다. 19년 숙성이 다듬은 둥근 질감을 삼킨 뒤에는 바닐라와 흰 과일의 잔향이 깔끔하게 이어지다 옅어진다.
