Tasting Notes
오래된 호박색이 잔벽을 따라 천천히 가라앉는다. 스페이사이드 글렌로시스가 1969년 빈티지로 39년을 견딘 뒤 고든 앤 맥페일의 맥페일스 컬렉션으로 43도에 병입된 보틀링이다. 향에는 시간이 우러난 가죽과 오래된 책장, 옅은 꿀과 마른 풀의 결이 깊게 머문다. 입에서는 캐러멜과 견과의 단맛, 잘 익은 사과와 미세한 향신료가 부드럽게 흐른다. 여운에는 노화된 오크와 꿀의 잔향이 길게 이어진다.

no, I mean yes, it’s one of these very fruity, almost ‘orchardy’ and pretty ‘beehivy’ old Glenrothes. A wee yeastiness at very first nosing, then ripe apples and pears, big juicy peaches, cherries, pollen, nectar, a little grass, quite some mead and just a little pipe tobacco. Not a very heavy one

rather short, fruity, delicately spicy. Apple juice. Whispers… More oak in the aftertaste
