Tasting Notes
잔을 둥글게 돌리면 옅은 황금빛이 잔 벽을 타고 흐른다. 코를 가져가면 글렌로시스다운 잘 익은 사과와 바닐라, 가벼운 향신료가 차례로 올라온다. 한 모금 머금으면 17년 숙성된 원액이 59.5도의 강한 기운으로 혀를 채우고, 꿀과 시트러스, 오크의 풍미가 번진다. 삼키면 보리사탕과 계피, 흰 후추의 끝맛이 깊게 머물러 묵직하고 길게 이어진다.

almost subtle after the pretty monstrous 2000’s, even at almost 60% ABV. Big sulphurous notes but of the pleasant kind (bicycle inner tube, matches, gunpowder). Asparagus. Very nice, dry nose actually. Not winey at all. With water: reminds me of the First Cask but with more delicacy. Liquorice, mint, coffee and burnt matches
restaurant Palate
starts sweet and candied (raspberries), gets then a tad rubbery (like when we were chewing rubber bands at school – didn’t you do that?), tarry and finally rather orangey. Works well despite the very high ABV. With water: no changes with water, quite unexpectedly. It got maybe a tad more tarry but that’s all

long, with notes of prunes dipped into chocolate
