잔을 기울여 빛에 비추면 30년 숙성이 만든 옅은 호박빛이 천천히 흐른다. 코끝으로 가져가면 글렌로시스다운 잘 익은 멜론과 바닐라, 부드러운 오크가 은은하게 풀려 나온다. 41.9도로 도수가 낮아진 이 위스키를 한 모금 머금으면 비단처럼 매끄러운 질감 위로 꿀과 살구, 가벼운 향신료가 잔잔하게 번진다. 천천히 삼키면 무르익은 과일 단맛이 부드럽게 잦아든다.

are we sure this is not from the 1970-1976 vintages? The lower strength and the herbal oak that was about to seize control are not obligatorily great news, but all the rest is perfect, honey, mead, halva, Sauternes, quinces indeed, apricots, mirabelles… So a Turner with a hole in a corner, that’s still a Turner, no?
