Tasting Notes
잔에 머금은 옅은 호박빛이 침잠하듯 깊어진다. 1969년에 증류된 글렌로시 39년은 노쇠한 위스키 특유의 정제된 우아함이 향부터 드러나는데, 잔을 가까이 하면 마른 살구와 꿀에 졸인 사과, 오래된 책장 같은 결이 풀려 나온다. 한 모금 머금으면 가벼운 흑설탕과 호두, 마른 풀의 결이 미끄러지듯 흐르고, 42.7도의 절제된 도수가 산만함을 허락하지 않는다. 마지막에 남는 것은 옅은 가죽과 향신료의 잔잔한 결이다.

no, I mean yes, it’s one of these very fruity, almost ‘orchardy’ and pretty ‘beehivy’ old Glenrothes. A wee yeastiness at very first nosing, then ripe apples and pears, big juicy peaches, cherries, pollen, nectar, a little grass, quite some mead and just a little pipe tobacco. Not a very heavy one

rather short, fruity, delicately spicy. Apple juice. Whispers… More oak in the aftertaste
