Tasting Notes
오래 익은 빛깔의 짙은 호박색이 잔에 깊게 잠겨 있다. 글렌로시스가 1969년에 증류해 서른여섯 해를 견딘 이 위스키는 시간이 빚어낸 풍미를 고스란히 담는다. 잘 익은 무화과와 오렌지 껍질, 오래된 가죽의 향이 깊게 피어오른다. 그 사이로 묵은 나무의 향긋함이 비친다. 입안에서는 마른 과일과 꿀, 은은한 오크가 농축된 단맛으로 흐른다. 51.8도의 긴 마무리에 묵은 나무와 향신료가 오래 머문다.

much more vanilla and oak influence here, this one hasn’t got cask #12884’s complexity and zestiness but it’s still a very nice one. Some caramel, vanilla custard, honey, ginger, cinnamon… Wait, there’s something behind the vanilla (ha, vanilla!)… Let’s use water. With water: indeed, this is fab! It’s not that the oak disappeared but both superb herbal notes and a wide array of fresh fruits came to the front, together with the expected and enhanced honeyed variations (including fir honeydew, always great)
