짙은 황금빛이 잔 안쪽에 부드럽게 비친다. 1967년 증류해 35년을 보낸 Glenrothes Peerless답게 40.9도의 낮은 도수에서도 시간의 깊이가 또렷이 드러난다. 코끝에는 잘 익은 살구, 꿀, 옅은 바닐라 향이 우아하게 올라온다. 입에서는 마멀레이드의 쌉쌀함, 캐러멜, 흑설탕의 단맛이 매끄럽게 풀린다. 여운에서는 옅은 흙내와 잘 익은 과일의 단맛이 길게 이어진다.
