Tasting Notes
잔을 가볍게 흔들면 1969년 빈티지의 짙은 호박빛이 잔 벽에 두꺼운 흔적을 남기며 미끄러져 내린다. 잔을 코끝에 가져가면 셰리 캐스크가 새긴 말린 자두와 가죽의 향이 먼저 들어온다. 한 모금을 머금으면 42년 숙성이 빚어낸 흑설탕, 호두, 시가 박스가 입천장을 부드럽게 덮는다. 42.6도의 글렌로시스가 삼킨 자리에서 깊은 우드 스파이스로 길게 따라간다.

no, I mean yes, it’s one of these very fruity, almost ‘orchardy’ and pretty ‘beehivy’ old Glenrothes. A wee yeastiness at very first nosing, then ripe apples and pears, big juicy peaches, cherries, pollen, nectar, a little grass, quite some mead and just a little pipe tobacco. Not a very heavy one

rather short, fruity, delicately spicy. Apple juice. Whispers… More oak in the aftertaste
