잔을 코끝에 가져가면 클라인리시 특유의 양초 같은 왁스 향이 시트러스와 함께 부드럽게 오른다. 잔을 흔들면 맑은 황금빛이 잔 벽을 따라 흐른다. 한 모금 머금으면 50도의 기운이 매끄럽게 혀를 감싸고 버번 호그스헤드가 더한 바닐라와 밀랍의 결이 또렷하게 번진다. 22년의 시간을 따라가듯 삼키면 기름진 질감과 레몬의 산뜻함이 입안을 채운다.

yeah, this is where you understand why they age malt whisky. The phenols and mineral 'things' are already starting to reach a third dimension, so to speak, and there are many more tertiary notes than in the youngsters. Beautiful notes of beeswax, kumquats and juicy ripe melons on top of the classic mineral notes. The coastal notes are more discreet, the shoe polish has vanished and the whiffs of brine have become softer and more elegant. There's also a little more camphor
