향을 맡기 전에 잔을 한참 세워 두면 알코올이 눌리고 바닐라와 흑설탕이 앞으로 나온다. 기울여 보면 색은 짙은 캐러멜 시럽에 가깝게 어둡다. 한 모금을 삼키면 계피와 마른 오크가 혀 뒤에서 거의 동시에 일어난다. 잔을 비우고 한참 뒤에 코를 대면 바닐라와 마른 오크 향이 여전히 은은하게 남아 있다. 10년의 숙성이 만든 탄닌이 목 안쪽을 조이며 여운을 길게 끌고 간다.
