Tasting Notes
버번 배럴에서 서른두 해를 머문 시간이 클라이넬리시 특유의 밀랍 같은 질감을 한층 깊게 다듬어 놓았다. 긴 숙성을 거친 향은 잘 익은 배와 꿀, 은은한 바닐라가 차곡차곡 겹을 이루며 천천히 열린다. 입에서는 45.7도의 부드러운 도수 위로 밀랍과 시트러스, 마른 풀의 결이 매끄럽게 흐른다. 혀 가운데에서는 특유의 기름진 질감이 입천장을 감싸며 꿀의 단맛을 천천히 끌고 간다. 옅은 황금빛 잔 끝으로 꿀과 옅은 소금기, 마른 풀의 여운이 길고 깔끔하게 남는다.

air Nose
a similar chalky profile, but better polished by the years and with more fruitiness and resins and herbs. Lamp oil, paraffin, shoe polish, more crushed slate, wet chalk, even a little rainwater, fresh mint leaves, then passion fruits and mangos coming through. Exactly Clynelish, with a little more oomph than sister casks that had been bottled at a lower strength
restaurant Palate
a little tougher, bitterer, with much more resin and bitter herbs, crunched pine needles for example… Having said that lemons and grapefruits are soon to come to the rescue to add a lovely, very fresh zestiness, with even a medicinal side, some iodine, some cough syrup
timer Finish
medium, similar to a blade that would cut you into two equal parts (as we sometimes say). Superb citrus, and guess what, with some limoncello and green chartreuse in the aftertaste
