잔을 살짝 기울였다 세우면 진한 갈색 액체가 느리게 제자리로 돌아온다. 코를 가져가면 토피와 볶은 헤이즐넛이 먼저 나오고 그 뒤로 오렌지 마멀레이드가 스친다. 한 모금을 머금으면 알코올의 열기가 혀 뒤쪽에서 피어나며 흑설탕과 후추가 동시에 번진다. 혀 밑에 잠시 두었다 삼키면 흑설탕의 단맛이 더 분명해진다. 헨리 맥케나 10년 특유의 마른 오크 여운이 끝까지 곧게 이어진다.
