하이랜드 북동안 브로라 해안의 거센 바람이 클라이넬리시 특유의 왁스 같은 질감을 빚어낸다. 1996년 증류해 24년을 버번 호그스헤드에서 보낸 이 위스키는 옅은 황금빛을 띠며, 코에는 밀랍과 레몬, 바다 소금이 산뜻하게 어우러진다. 54.7도의 입안에는 시트러스와 꿀, 기름진 미네랄이 또렷하게 번지며 해안다운 짠맛이 균형을 잡는다. 여운은 왁스와 짭조름한 단맛이 길고 매끄럽게 이어지며 브로라 해안의 개성을 남긴다.

good, after twenty to twenty-five years, these vintages have become perfect, characterful aged spirits, with a waxiness that became just huge.
