엑스버번 호그스헤드에서 21년을 보낸 시간이 이 클라이넬리시 1996의 결을 또렷하게 드러낸다. 향은 꿀과 밀랍, 옅은 시트러스가 은은하게 피어오르며 이 증류소 특유의 왁스 질감을 예고한다. 56.1도의 입안에서는 레몬 커드와 보리 단맛, 가벼운 후추가 매끄럽게 흐른다. 오랜 버번 숙성이 다듬어 놓은 기름진 질감이 인상적이고, 맑은 황금빛과 함께 여운은 밀랍과 오크로 길게 이어진다.
