잔을 받자마자 코를 가져가면 알코올 기운이 먼저 스치고 곧 옥수수 단맛이 덮어준다. 흔든 뒤에는 오렌지 껍질과 정향이 또렷해진다. 한 모금을 머금으면 묵직하게 입을 채우며 흑설탕과 구운 피칸이 이어진다. 삼킨 자리에는 참나무 타닌과 후추가 오래 남는다. 헤븐힐의 10년 숙성이 도수의 날을 충분히 깎아냈다. 두 모금째부터는 열기보다 단맛이 먼저 읽힌다.
